Question '96 CBR 1000F won't start

I just pulled 2 plugs and they are bone dry. No fuel getting into the cylinders. What's the most likely cause of this? Bike fired up last December when I put it away.

i would check the vaccum hose that goes from the motor to the petcock, check for cracks or mabye it just worked its way off. if nothing there than i would check fuel line connections from petcock to carbies, if nothing there than i would go to the in tank pick up, just like a fine screen filter with two heights for reserve and normal fuel. if you have no luck there let me know, i have a few more ideas but that should be a good start. good luck, tiss the season

Maybe move the fuel lever to reserve ?
Should be something simple, unless the rodents have been busy.....!

If not stored properly, the gas could evaporate leaving a gunk in the carb bowls that would clog up the fuel jets.

But seeing as I did the same thing (stored in Dec with no stabilizer, back on road last week) all I had to do was crank it for about a minute or two, choke open and wait for the bike to fire.

Talking '96 cbr

I took the fuel tube off of the petcock (fuel lever in reserve). Then, cranked the engine for 1 second. This drained some fuel into a cup. I hooked the fuel tube back up. Then when I tried to start the engine, it did start. Go figure. Thanks for your suggestions !
