Default 93 cbr 1000f won't start

Worked fine yesterday; we changed a headlight. That is all I have done as far as electrical. Today, I am all suited up to ride and the battery is dead. Oh battery is 1 week old. The most I can get even with fully charged battery and 50 amp battery charge boost is the clicking of the selonoid. And the bike's lights say they are not getting enough juice. I checked all conections, fuses, and found nothing.
What would prevent electricity getting from the battery to the lights? It is like the flow of juice is restricted somehow. From what little I know that is impossible but it certainly is happening. HELP!

you should check to see if there is corrosionaround your terminals or on/in your cables, can cause resistance in line feed of power. can of hot coke kills the corrosion

I have a 1996. After I replaced the headlamp with other than stock 45/45 I experienced the same symptoms. I eventually had to replace both battery and regulator rectifier, and redo the melted terminals ( check my post on "halogen bulb misfortunes" for pic and location of culprit ). I had used 65/45. If you have mounted anything other than 45/45 then you are still digging so you must remove the offending bulb.

About 4 inches from the + battery terminal, under the panel closest to your right knee ( when sitting on the bike ) there is a mains protected by a 30A fuse. But it is not visible. You will have to remove some boot and do some prying to get to it. There are 4 wires coming out of this mains. When you are putting it back together note that the 2 thickest wires go on the outside, and the two thin go on the inside. If you interchange them the 30A fuse next to it will blow.
In my case I think the power draw from the exotic headlamp exceeded what could be handled by the circuit wires, leading to a meltdown. To get good contacts I had to replace the end connectors of all 4 wires. Good luck.

Found the problem after replacing all fuses which seemed fine and checking the wiring which again seemed ok. Turns out the brand new battery which operated all week died. Dead cell. New battery and I am off. The parts store employee's explanation: "It happens!"

But thanks for the advice and assistance. 'Till next time.
