I know, and I wrote another thread later on discussing that. But I guess some people just like to flip out too quickly, but whatever. I'm done writing about this; I've got way too many other important things going on like healing and getting my leg back to normal after yet another driver "didn't see me" on the road.

it's so weird...I've been riding accident free, except for a few track mishaps, for almost 10 years, and bam, I was visiting my parents and I got hit like a half-mile from their house.

And what's also funny about it is that I just had an article printed in Cycle World about safety on the road...weird stuff for sure.

Enjoy your Memorial Day!

I'm from Canada (Ontario) so I'm not too familiar with the US system. How hard would it be to get a new title? For me to bring it across the border, I woud need a title or else they won't let me go across.

EDIT: Never mind, I posted but only reading the first page. You shouldn't be aloowed to sell the bike without a title. Who owns it anyways?

Ron,

When you said:

I'm not looking for money, just a satisfied biker who can restore this bike and use it.
and in the PM to me...

As for a price, name one. Seriously just name one...
What am I not understanding?

So the whole time, you MEANT, "Make me a serious offer over $1000"??

Wow, that's a hell of a stretch, bud.

If you had just said "Make me a serious offer over $1000" in your original post, I would have just chuckled and moved on.

I'm not flipping out at all. I flip out when I ask for no mayo at burger king and those ****ers put it on anyway. Or when I ask some punk in jail if he's done with the salt, and the a$$hole says "no", but just lets it sit there and doesn't use it. (that one got me a setback)

It just pisses me off that you jump from a "free" post to a "name your price" pm, to a "that's not enough, I want over $1000" email.

I thought you meant what you said, but obviously you didn't.
Screw it. I'm not worried about it.

BTW, I've given away a lot of stuff I didn't need.
Some kid at work needed a riding lawnmower and I gave him mine and bought a different one.
I just gave some random guy off the street a refrigerator last year. Also gave some crazy guy a ton of scrap steel.
Hell, I've got a pretty nice air compressor that I don't need at the moment, and the first guy I find that needs it can have it.

I hope your leg heals well, I mean that. I'm sorry to hear of any biker going down.
Have a good memorial day.

Thanks man.

Again, Sorry for the confusion...and i think you should start writing...you got a great voice in words!

As for that compressor...hmmm...what model is it? And is it a 120 line?

Hahaha...again man, sorry. Drink much this weekend (but stay off the machines!)

Best,

Ron

I'm sure you do, hawk....
I heard there's this place up route 30 where they even tie your shoes for you before you leave.
Wait, you're talking about the thread...
Nevermind...

As for that compressor...hmmm...what model is it? And is it a 120 line?
Yep, it's a 120. It's a Devilbiss...It's rated for 7CFM @90PSI.

Just make me an offer....
(I had to do it)

Thanks for the compliment and Ride Safe!!

Kilgore just swap the compressor for the bike.
Dayum you don't want it anyway.
If you offered me a Devilbus compressor I'd be all over it.
They make some of the best sprayguns I've ever used. I had an airbrush which I sold to a buddy - wish I'd kept it.

Let's be civil from here on guys - I may be seen as a nice guy, but if you want to rant at each other take it to PM's (again) OK ?, or I'll have to beat you both with a wet spaghetti stick for at least ten minutes.
