Default 91 cbr1000f gas tans vent tube

Hi I took off the gass tank off my91 cbr1000f to clean out the petcock & gas tank. went to put it back together and cant find out where the tube comming out the bottom of the gas tank goes now. It is in the middle of the tank and this 1 has a hose attched to it. I hope you can help. Thanks.

as far as i remember that line just sat the as (about 99% sure) as an overflow or something a long those lines when i remove my tank of my 94' i just removed it all togeather and didnt notice any issues after doing do (this is the tube coming out directly under the tank and not the suction lne for positive flow of gas from the peatcock right?) if its under the tank then thats what im talking about but like i said as far as i know i wouldnt worry bout that one at all

If you open the gas cap there's a hole on the left side,a kind of overflow. It might be from there...and drainsoverfill fuel out (or does it go back into the tank...?).
Seta little"airpressure" (not much)on it and see where it comes out...

I agree. It is the overflow that runs down to under the bike. There are only 3 lines.

1. fuel (petcock)
2. vacuume (petcock)
3. overflow (down and out)

I agree it is the overflow hose but it looks like it was attched to something coz the end is flared out like it was on a fitting. I looked at a page that showed a canister and think it would go there but dont see it on this bike. I took it apart 6 mo. ago so i forgot where it goes. Thanks

Sorry about the delay, here's some pictures i took with my mobilephone !
As you can see on the first picture, mine has a funnel where the "pipe" goes into. The tube/hose goes down thrue the right side, and it ends up under the bike,I did a marking on the pictures so you can follow it.

I'll send them in two reply's,the files where a bit big !

Good luck !
