Default 2 up weight limit

I need to give my bro a ride for about 2 miles, together we equal close to 500 pounds (227 Kgs). Will this overtax my '87? Any driving techniques for a situation like this?

I thought the load carrying weight was around 400lbs or slightly lower

My manual for my 95 says 384 lbs. gross carrying weight. Two miles? I say let him walk.

I don't know what the actual limit is, but I know mine has carried at least 450lbs. Just try to avoid quick stops and big bumps.

I weigh 115 Kilos and my wife weighs 70 Kilos and we had 40 kilos of luggage on our 92 1000 F and it didnt even bother it we did 5,000 Kls fully loaded with full leathers too.

The design weight limit is 180kg. Pants I know as a combination of the average couple nowdays exceeds this. I thinks that it is a case of take it easy to start with and see where it goes.
