I intended to get this project started when I joined the forum and made my first post back in March, but it took awhile to free up a lift table. The bike looked halfway decent with the fairings on, but she was very ratty underneath. She hasn't been started for ~18 years, so I decided to go ahead and do a full tear down and restore. I've attached the pix of the before and a couple of it stripped down to the frame. A lot of cleaning still needed. I just got the engine on the stand, so that will be my focus for awhile. Let me know of any tips or gotchas!
Wow, you weren't kidding when you said a full strip-down, every credit and I must say what a fantastic garage to be able to do it in.
Fingers crossed for you that all goes well.
