Hello from Alberta!
Hi all,
New to the motorcycle world, and I just purchased an 87 Hurricane today. I purchased an 02 project last year, but I have found parts too difficult to source up here in the great white north. The Hurricane is much more complete, so hopefully it will be a much easier project to take on over the winter, so once I take a beginner's course, it will be ready for me.
Okay, off to raid the cupboards around here for a late evening knowledge snack.

Update: 2020, Going Vintage Racing!
Hello, anybody home? Bummer, FB threads have no organization or depth. Just endless newbee questions and pics.
My bike is all up to date and running 100%!!!
Posted it for sale on FB and the AHRMA swap group. Somebody there told me AHRMA just formed a new Next Gen Middleweight class that includes the 87 to 90 CBR600!!!
Pulled my bike off after 2 days and decided to prep it for AHRMA vintage racing. I only been dreaming about doing that since I bought the bike in June 2019!!!
Gonna need some engine parts sources: Valves where can I find intake and exhaust valves?
Thanks! BiL
