1988 Honda Syphoning Fuel &Missing
Hi,
Have 2 88 canes and the one I am riding recently underwent surgery by an idiot Other than myself. Currently Syphoning fuel and runs like its missing or starving after riding x 30 min or after hitting 8000 rpm a couple of times. I don't have the vacuum or overflow lines on the bottom of the tank attached. Could that cause the problems. Carbs were professionally cleaned and set after the first butcher flooded my motor with gas and burnt out my starter trying to get it to turn over with the crank full of gas. Stopped and opened the gas cap and didn't do anything. Fiddled with the pet **** and that seemed to help.
Any thoughts or pics of underside of tank would be appreciated. I have a donor bike but butcher took that apart too so I am not sure where small tank vacuum line attaches. It's not in the manual.
Anybody uploaded pics from an iPad to the forum?? Want post pics of my canes.

tanks not venting - drill a hole in the filler neck @ 3 oclock looking to to the
front of the bike high up just under the lip - as you'll never get the blocked
vent line to open - ask me how I know this !!!!
