Default 1988 cbr1000f

Hello! I'm restoring my '88 Hurricane, and I am looking for the left side cover (the one with the hole for the reserve petcock). Mines in pretty rough shape, an I would rather start off with a better one!

Please let me know what ya got!!!

Thanks!

Myles

Thank you for restoring what is to me the best looking bike made.A Hurricane. Tryebay, but i have not see what you are looking for in a while. New stuff is always coming through everyday. I have got a few pieces from a motorcycle salvage yard that were in great shape. It was in east or west Haven Connecticut. It has been a few years but I found it on the internet. Try other salvage yards for bikes. Good luck in restoring your Hurricane. I loved every minute of it. Also try your local Honda dealership who knows what they maybe know.

Bruiserc I think you are talking about cycle salvage in west haven. Where are you located? I'm in Branford.

I have to agree with Shadow1 After research I found it was the one of 2 best prices out there in cyberspcae for the part I needed. I actuallty called the other place www.carolinacycle.com (no preference, just flipped a coin)and when I went to confirm price the guy actually told me that was the internet price and tha tit was actually less if you call in. I asked if it was brand new OEM and he confirmed, right from the HONDA warehouse. I called a salvage center for the alternator cover and it was $75-80 more rebuilt than OEM.
