Always looking for the next upgrade. If I was able to light up all the lights at once on my bike that I use, I'm probably pulling close to 270w, plus the heated grips (looking at closer 300w) plus if I get a heated liners then I'm running out of juice (can't find any spec in the service manual). If I could get ,say, BMW style output I might be satisfied.

That is of interest Steve. Now you've mentioned it I've tried to look for the rated output of the alternator in my manual and can't find it anywhere. Where did you get the figures?

My engine parts are now ordered so the rebuild is getting closer.
