Hi, I am a new owner of a 1996 CBR1000F. loving it so far and impressed with its ability to demolish motorway miles with ease. My only problem is a pain between my shoulder blades/bottom of neck which I used to get on my old VFR750. I have never got the pain on my R1100GS or XTZ660 so it must be down to the similar ergonomics to the VFR750. I have read threads about putting VFR750 and early VFR800 bars on the CBR and it appears that the 800 bars are the higheset.
I have bought a pair of these 800 bars on ebay and am awaiting delivery. None of the posts on here are clear on what you have to do to make these fit regarding relocting or replacing cables. Can anybody give me some hints?
