Default Shorty levers

This may be a dumb question but I am going to get some replacement levers for my F4 for a color match to my exhaust and no other reason really (other than the fact that the previous owner also bent one of levers).

What is the point of some of the shorty levers out there? Is this a looks thing or is there a functional difference I am unaware of?

You can adjust the "throw" so that they're a different distance from the grip (some like it really close, so you only have to tap the clutch to disengage it), and the "shortness" of them allows you to move them with only one or two fingers, for the same reasons. Theses are both very common practices in race scenarios.
