Live feed rear view camera?

Live feed rear view camera?
I've read a few posts complaining about the 'ant feeler mirrors'... Is there any such thing as a small wide-view camera that could fit under your tail light and has a cctv feed to a screen on the dash? It would be a live feed direct from camera to screen so there would be no need for recording capabilities...
How big are those CCTV's people who can't reverse their cages use?

RE: Live feed rear view camera?
My buddy has a backup camera mounted on his truck. The camera is tiny and thin, you could probably mount it along the top of your license plate. The screen for it is only about 3 inches wide or so. Here in Canada they go for about $100.00 CND + taxes.
Here is a link to a similar camera like the one my buddy has: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4744711

My brother bought the exact same camera and I mounted it on his 01 F4i. I had to custom make a bracket for it and mounted it using one of the gas tank screws. During the day it's not so great because there's too much glare but he says it's amazing at night. I think the whole display is a little too big. If there wasn't so much plastic surrounding the screen I probably could've been able to mount it better. Even the camera itself is a little bulky but he's happy with it.

You can pick up a rear view camera for ridiculously cheap on eBay, I looked into getting one for my Accord.

i was looking to get one of these also my concern is with the monitor, how well do they handle water, i obviously dont expect them to be waterproof, but i live in nj and the weather can be sometimes unpredictable, ie bright sunny day into torrential downpours especially in the spring so i plan to mount it up under the windscreen but that wont protect it completely from water so im just curious as to how much these monitors can handle before im SOL in the case of a sudden storm
