I was curious to find out if it would be better to buy a K&N replacement for the air box, or would it be better to buy one small one for each carb, and remove the airbox........Any input would be great........

i went with a K&N because the airbox sucks cold air. withthte "pods" on the carbs they will suck in the engine heat and not preform as well as they could.
i suggets the K&N filter
and when you hit about 10k you will hear it suckin air like a ****

I run K&N in both bikes and the car.

 

K&N here also and trust me i love it, def tell a diff, and like jonbrown said, hit 10k and you hear it sucking air big time
