go with the bmc race...I have one and love it...It let's more air in the motor than the K&N and the BMC street version...They are expensive and sometimes hard to get...It took me almost a year to get one due to the fact they were back ordered...And they are made in Italy and you will see are nice quallity....Worth every penny as far as I am concerned...Cheers,....Andy

They'll all provide nearly identical power benefits (which will be very minor, probably not noticeable) without an accompanying dyno tune.

K&N -- the BMC race is exactly that ... for racing. Sure, lets more air in but doesn't filter out as much as the K&N. For every day riding you might want better filtration.

I dunno anything about the BMC street ... prolly on par with the K&N but I have no personal knowledge of that filter.

andy do you ride your bike a lot? also where you live is it pretty dusty? i live in central oregon and it tends to be pretty dusty here. kinda thinking i should probably go with bmc street since it'll filter out more of the dust that is around here.

if thats the case go with the K&N <<<-- not KNN.... anyway... because if the bmc intakes more air... that means ull be taking in more dust... the K&N is a great street bike filter.... you cant go wrong with them...

my two cents

The only thing that seperates the K&N and BMC street from a stock filter is that you can wash them. The BMC race air filter lets in alot more than just air and if you are just riding around on the street I'd stay away from it. Stick with the stock filter or if you prefer not buying a new one every now and then then grab a K&N or BMC street, they are the same thing.
