I asked this some time back, but don't recall getting any answers. Where do you guys buy your oil & filters? From a local Stealership?? Is there a better online supplier? I'm looking for cheaper, but also for ease of ordering.

I usually buy my oil and oil filters from my local stealership. I've been going to the same shop since I had my first bike. For parts and accessories I do a comparison; The shop vs. online. The shop will usually match what I can get online, it just takes a little longer and they eat the shipping cost. 6 in one hand half a dozen in the other.

 

Thanks all. I can't find 06 RR oil filters online anywhere. Guess it's a shop visit coming up for me. Trouble is, it's 55 miles each way & I can't really ride the bike there & carry 6 filters home.[:'(]

 

Damn Jet, where do you live that's it 55 mles to the nearest Honda dealer? I have like three in a 20 mile radius of me.

Better stock up. I just did my second oil change this morning @ 2500 miles. I wanted to do the second change a little sooner. I'll spread the next change out to a 3000 mile interval and continue at that interval.

 

i use K&N oil filters and get them from indysuperbikes.com, usually 4 or 5 at a time

I use repsol oil though and thats a little more rare, none of my local shops carry it but luckily there is a shop right next to the hotel I stay at near Barber that does
