Default Hydraulic Clutch conversion for F4

Hi guys, any potential issues you can see with installing one of these?

I mean it's probably a bit dinky considering the price but if the Chinese can produce something that works well enough it's well worth the $70. I saw a guide online that tells you how to install one on a dirtbike. The hardest part seems to be drilling a hole in the bracket that the slave unit fits into so that you can bolt it to your clutch cover. I also heard about some compatibility issues with different pressure ratios and stuff.

I've personally never even bled my brakes or anything like that yet so I'll probably swap out my front brake lines for some stainless ones and after installing them I'll tackle this job, but in the meantime does anyone have any thoughts? If anyone knows the best length to get that would be a helpful tidbit...

The slave actually should fit in place just like the cable-end does.
It's a fairly bolt-up replacement, IF the cable is the correct length.

The real concern, is fit/fitment and he's a LOOONG way away for tech support.
The other issue is he's only made 11 sells. You might want to wait till he gets
a better sells-record, before dipping into the waters.

Hope this helps, Ern

Yeah. I might get restless and impatient and just go for it and eat the $70 if it doesn't work out. I'll keep you guys posted

If you do get them let us know! I got spoiled on my 84CB700SC, so I've considered
this same thing. The closest I've found was the Magura stuff. But they're a german
brand and the english site is rather obscure and difficult to determine the right kit.
So it's been a back-burner project for me.

I liked the hydralic clutch. Had an 84 V65 Sabre in 1985, 17 year old kid with one of the fastest bikes made at the time. It threw me down the road a couple times.lol

Ahhh hydraulic clutches, providing zero lever feedback for many years.... Most manufacturers ditched hydro clutches and went back to cable for a reason.
