RE: how to knock out baffle???
i was given a scorpion muffler for free.. and didn't have a pipe that fit.. so i essencially cut the OEM muffler, and welded mine in place. while i had it off, i was thinking the same thing, punch out the baffle.. but it was ****ing STOUT! i tired hitting it with a punch and a hammer, and i tried hitting the head of a hammer with another hammer, and i coudln't get it to budge.
but it was unlike catalitic coverter material. it was steel. so my guess is, if you want to remove the baffle.. your going to have to chop it off, and replace that section with another pipe that doesn't have that baffle in it.
just to clarify.. im think im refering to the resonator. its between the slip on, and the muffler.. baffles are usually used inside the muffler.
anyways.. here's a pic of my setup. you can see the bulgeunder the foot peg where the resonator is located.

RE: how to knock out baffle???
Drill it out (the stuff in the muffler)
Geta long 1/4 inch drill bit and a good drill and go to town, put a few holes in the baffles and the sound will be changed quite a bit!
Dont worry about the metal shavings, they will either get blown out or just hang out in the pipe, they wont go back up the pipe.
