Default Air filter

Has anyone put a mini air filter on the breather hose?(top of head)will it hurt or help?i think im going to try it out[:-]

i know what you're talking about...like for cars...but no...i don't think anyone's done it for a bike...they are very cute though...like tiny baby K&N cones and stuff...oh...so cute...sweet...a baby...oh....

yea so like your answer is like no.

unless you got turbo.. but yea that "hose" is for the PCV system or something like that.

I think it's got to hurt your power output as the standard air box is sealed and pressurized ( by the induction system)

never had a filter like that on mine but my bike ran for about 5 months without that hose attached to the airbox due to no hose clamp. The bike ran fine. I actually couldn't tell any difference at all.

I have one on my car. It blows oil vapor under hard acceleration. Have to wipe down my intake tube once in awhile.

The question is..........what if it does give you .0001Hp gain. Is it worth it?

IMHO leave the emission alone unless you are racing and need the weight savings.

mine occassionally causes the oil to blow past my filter and into my carbs. I don't think my airbox is in the best of shape.
