where to mount led's?
im adding 4 to 6 electropods to my 06 f4i. where do you guys usually mount them to look the best.i already put one facing down over the back tire and one right under the spring facing the rear.the area around my rear tire and spring looks pretty good but what about the front. i also would like to light up the opening in each side cowl but i dont know where to mount them without getting them too hot?
I'll post mine soon
1 on each of the frame openings where the hole in the fairing. 1 of those bar's under the spring on the swing arm. 2 on each side of the subframe near the pasanger pegs, and 1 bar under the very front under the headlight over the front fender

Im working on some leds right now. I ordered 40 5mm leds and resistors for them. It was less than 20$ from www.oznium.com. The other stuff that i had already was a switch, fuse and wire, and all the soldering supplies. Im installing them now but it takes alot of time doing it from scratch like i am. I will get some pictures when it is all done by the end of next week. sry to keep you waiting. lol
Heres a suggestion when putting in the lights...try to use quick disconnects.Helps out when your working on your bike. This way you can take each fairing off without having wires of Leds all over the place. I did it to mine and I can do a quick oil change and not have wires hanging.I got 7 leds but they are stupid bright and arethe size of a quarter.
