Swing arm Painting
ok so i got quoted 65 to get my swing arm powder coated so i am going to try and take it off myself . is there anything i should know? i heard i need to replace the bearings. can i just remove the original and put back in ? i have heard its a pain to get them out. someone shed a little light for me. thanks

It's not required but its a good chance to inspect the bearings and replace if necessary. Definitely take the opportunity to lube everything.
Hardest part of removing the swingarm is gonna be securely supporting the bike while removing it and getting the pivot bolt out if it's never been done. Disconnecting / reconnecting the rear shock is only worth minor cussing.

i have seen it done with to jack stands attached to a bolt were the swing arm was with a support from the rear. i saw it on another cbr forum. what i m most worried about is i have to take out the bearings and doing so they will get damaged then i have to put new ones in . dont no the proceedure.
