Slip-on question...
New here to the forums..I'm 18 and I have an '07 CBR600RR, already took the safety course and have some riding experience.
Anyways, I plan on keeping my bike fairly stock except for a slip-on because I want it to sound like an F1 car. I've been listening to some videos but I'm not sure which slipon will give the highest pitch sound, which is really what I am looking for. Also, any recommended places to order from? I looked at some sponsors sites and not many offer parts for 07s

RE: Slip-on question...
here's a site with a good selection of exhaust clips...i went with the yoshi rs5 cause it screams when i get on it....and it's not that loud at idle..i wasn't looking for anything really loud and i wasn't really expecting too much a gain on horsepower on a motorcycle...

Here is a sound clip from my '07 with the Jardine RT-One and a quote from another one of our members:

I've heard the Jardine and it is straight F1 sound. I love it.

If you just want sound buy an A&R race baffle for a 100 bucks. If your going to buy a slip on, the best is Akrapovic, they are nottoo loud, but they sound awesome. Micron is also a good choice. Both will give you a couple of HP but nothing noticable unless you get a power commander which totally changes your bikes throttle response, it basically make your bike run better. You might want to look into that. Leo Vince is supposed to be a good pipe as well. Jardine is a popular choice, I don't know about them so I won't comment on them either, they do sound nice though.
Do not buy a D&D they are obnoxiously loud and I was told you lose HP with the D&D. Don't go there.
Yoshimura is a pipe for Suzuki not Honda!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Slip-on question...
mm I like the sound of that Jardine, any website you recommend purchasing from???
I'll also check out the A&R race baffle..as I am completely concerned with sound.
Performance I don't care about because the bike is already enough for me as it is in stock form.
With the baffle will it give a high pitched, Formula 1 sound?

RE: Slip-on question...
A lot of my business is done through my local businesses but for the exhuast I ordered it online at indysuperbike.com. The reason why I went with them was for their excellent customer service and good prices on different items in the past i've dealt with. If you do go with this website make your purchase over the phone, so you don't risk giving out valueable information on the internet. Expect to see prices from $580 - $620.
