Default '06 F4i slip-on question...

OK, here is probably the dumbest question of the day:

I'm thinking seriously of getting the Yoshi slip-on (carbon fiber) for my '06 F4i...the question I have is this: What else will I have to do to make sure the bike runs as good as it runs now?

Obviously, rejetting is not necessary (fuel injection - even I know that <lol&gt. Will I have to get a Power Commander or something similar?

I'm not really interested in performance gains from my slip-on; I just want to improve the look and sound.

Thanks in advance.

A power commander is not necessary. You can install the slipon and ride for the life of you bike.

The Power Commander will smooth out the throttle response and richen the mix to compensate for the added airflow from the pipe (similar to jetting a carbed bike).

IMHO you want to get the pipe now, then the PC as soon as money allows. Run the map for your exhaust. You only need to have a custom map done if you want the most power gains and the best fuel economy.

just to let you know that if you have a 06 f4i, you have an o2 sensor. Dyno Jet makes a O2 sensor eliminatior that you need to put on. i got mine from a local cycle shop here. it was about $20.
