Default Ignition advance, hit or skip???

I'm looking for a little more low end grunt from my CBR F3. A guy at work mentioned ignition advance and how it was a cheap, easy mod. Turns out it's only @ $50! This kit by Factory Pro advances the timing 4 degrees. Does anyone here have any experience with this? My bike is stock right now btw. Thanks!

I linked to that because it said it better than I ever could. Also advanced motors are harder to start so make sure all that stuff is in order.

My son raced an F3 from '99-'02. We got good results from a Dyno Jet kit and Hindle full system exhaust. We tried a borrowedV&H Power Pac with no noticable reduction in lap times. But the Power Pac may have been for an F2. He got a third at the amature nationals at Mid-Ohio in '00

I bought my f2 with a ignition advance. It also has full exhaust. Best mpg I can get is 45. It seems to have alot quicker low end response then my other carbed bikes. (900rr, zx7r, vfr750)
