Helps throttle response, and is washable, which is key, cause the stock ones are not. I would put it on if you have a slip-on. You can feel is breathing better. Its a pain in the *** to instal, and the only one to go with is the BMC.

I have always heard that the best air filter for our sportbikes is the OEM one.

I agree. the only plus is that you can re-use some of the aftermarkets, they dont help breath that much better. I use OEM

K&N offers a oem replacement air filter. this is what i have. so i don have to replace it and just have to wash it out. i think it is worth it.

I had a K&N, but just switched back to an OEM one. I like it more with the oem filter in place. It just seems smoother overall, with less holes in the powerband. Two Brothers recomends the stock filter in an F4, and I agree.
