Default Please Help!! important!!

I have a 98 f3 600. I was ridding home last night when it started jump and sputter like it was running out of gas but I just filled up. So I put it to reserve. And he just died out on me. I pulled over on to the side walk. And try to start it on choke with giving it some gas. He wanted to start but wouldn’t. Sounded like it wasn’t getting gas. Do you think this could be the gas filter? Or something else? It did to me before. But it only does it when I am driving in the rain. Just put brand new spark plugs in, oil change, air filter. Took in for 12,000 mile service. When I go to start it today. It just turns over like I am not getting spark or something. Any help. Please help.

Check the fuel pump man. Disconnect the hose coming from the fuel pump to the carbs;try to start it and seeif there is gas coming from the pump. have a rag/towel/something closeto contain the gasin case the fuel pump is working. Also, there's a relay for the fuel pump; itprimes till the pressure is built up to the carbs andthen shuts it off.

Make sure you get the same style fuel filter. I think Emgo makes them, they're like $8, and Honda has the factory ones for $20...Don't get one of the crappy clear ones though, the inlet and outlets are smaller which will restrict fuel flow and make your bike run lean, and like **** too.But yeah, if you're gonna spen the $150 or so on a new fuel pump, you might as well spend the extra $8 to $20 just to be on the safe side.
