exhuast or nitrous
bro i think these guys know what they are talking about. if you want to compete with 10sec and faster cars buy a liter bike. if not improve your riding skills before modding your bike, how do you know that you can ride well? you said this is your first bike? and it does take skill even to take it from 60-140mph
All I'm going to say is this.
If you want a bike strictly to go out and illegally race on the highway from 60-140mph against your friends' cars that run sub 10-sec quarter miles (yeah right), then do it. Nos up your bike, turbocharge it, do whatever you wish. But I wouldn't be surprised if you never posted back here again, because coffins don't have Wi Fi.

Masblaster - have you ridden the bike at or near the redline ? The 600RR is my first bike, and
at full throttle anywhere above 9,000 rpm I don't think it will ever feel 'slow'. If you keep the engine
spinning up around peak power, there will be very few cars that can equal your power to weight - very few.
A good exhaust and a Power Commander may give you a little more in the mid-range, but won't change the top end power. Nitrous on the street sounds real scary to me !
Find a road with corners and you shouldsmoke all those cars.
Good luck, and ride safe.
