Default 05 cbr 600 engine swap

Hey ive got a 05 cbr 600rr and im looking to go with a 1000 engine swap. I did a search but got nothing. Anyway what kind of possible issues could i run into and is it even possible. Also i know buying a 1k to begin with would be a better deal but that is not the goal of my project. Thanks in advance.

anything is possible with enough time and money, but the biggest problem would be a question if the frame can handle the new found power.

no point to the project and the 600rr frame is smaller then the 1000rr, sell the 600rr and buy a 1000rr

Yep, the 1000RR engine is both wider and taller than the 600RR engine. So you'd have to do extensive fame modifications in important structural area. HIGHLY not recommened.

k, becuase of the required frame modifications im going to pass on it. I was just curious seeing that there were some 900 swaps on some older 600's. But anyway thanks for the input guys.
