Default what kind of mods to do?

What can i do to an 08 cbr 1000 to get the best bang for my buck as far as motor performance regaurding horsepower/torque? Is it worth it to tear into the motor or just do plug in/slip on things? Any input is helpful
thanks

A Power Commander or Juice Box, along with a K&N Air Filter and Slip on. Thats the best mods you can do for power outside the engine. 300 for the PC or JB, 400 for the slip on, and 40 for the air filter and all things you can do yourself

going into the motor is going to cost a significant more amount of money for power over just bolt on/plug in mods. That is unless you have a shop, in which case you probably wouldnt have made this thread...

but i think your bike is listed around 180 bhp, so maybe like low 160's whp at best?? (idk just a guess) With a full system and PCIII you can proabably get to 170 whp. i think i would be satisfied with that considering thats like 20 more horses than my ride...haha

good luck modding
