Pegs are like glue
I have found that the stock pegs on my 2004 1000 CBR are very hard to slip from the ball of your foot, to shift, and then back on. It's like you have to remove your entire boot form the peg, slip it under the shifter, hit your shift, and then careflly extract your boot to place back on the peg.
Should I file the pegs teeth down a little or what? Perhaps different pegs, rear sets? Your boot will never slip off that's for sure. What is the suggestion of the group to minimize this? More practice on my part, or a different peg. I ride with Alpine boots and their sole is like adhesive as it is.
Thoughts?
