Default 2008 1000 exhaust question

so im in need for a pipe because this stock one just isnt cutting it. i have read on the forums and by all the threads i think that arata seems to be the best performance wise. does micron make one for this bike? if so is it any good? the arata so far which i have seen was like 2200$ for the full. i guess for now i am just looking for the slipon. thanks

The full exhausts for the '08 probably aren't going to produce the gains that they did on older 1000rr's. The full Akra only gained like 4.7rwhp. That's not much when you consider that they cost close to $2000. The only real benefit is the lighter weight. For 90% of owners a slip-on (as usual)is the most economical choice for the '08. Arrow also makes great exhausts. But The Akro, Arata, and Arrow all leave the gap between the exhaust and the lower fairing which doesn't help in the looks department.
