i have a 2007 cbr 1000rr that was involver in a head on crash at about 15mph. i need some insite on what to do about fixing the bike. it is at a local dealer right now and i have two options...track or street...the bikes damage is only to the front end and plastics..it will need new tripple trees,radiator (i just bought one for 125 bucks) fan, upper tripple tree,ignition,hesd (but i would like to upgrade)..im shure im forgeting a bunch of stuff but thats all off the top of my head. the forks and rim are true so i saved a few $$ there. i just need a little help finding parts cause ebay has nothing and i dont wana pay an arm and a leg. so here are my questions..
if i turn it into a track bike do upgraded trippletrees make a big difference? one worth the price?

can i get race plastics and then add my own lights and have it be legal?

are there any good web-sites you know of to find salvage bike parts or cheep used ones?

is there anything i should consider upgrading now?
