hmm spark plug in tailpipe and coil + switch....that sounds safer than propane. Im curious where would you reccommend would be the best place mount the spark plug. Using my bike as an example for educational purposes. would you just drill + sand + insert plug +seal edges?

You've peaked my curiousty but i would just like to know....i really don't have the mechanical skill to actually pull this off.

actually the propane is safer...it would simply be a propane gun in your tailpipe

OOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK....as far as the rear pegs on the 08 go. you are right ..it is ugly. they are mounted on the inside of the frame. only way to remove them with out damaging anything is to completely dismantle the entire tail....fairing...battery box.....etc.

I'm still amazed that they did that.

I have to say I was not really impressed with it when I saw it....the stats were good..but when I saw it and gave a close look...it was like...what were they thinking??? even the mechanics I know dread working on it.

best advice......get the factory service manual first

and I am sure the filters are accessed from under the tankcover like the 07...no need to remove the front fairing

oh and either K&N or BMC make filters for your bike
