Old bike - what everybody wants?
#11
I took it out for an hour today, left it in full power mode, did some 'fast' work, some town work and a bit of twisty. In town you can be gentle but whip the throttle open in first and it's brutal. Instant wheelies. In low gears on the twisties you have to be careful because, again, it doesn't take much throttle input to go MUCH faster than you need. And on the motorway, even in 6th, acceleration from 70mph is instant and at 100mph you know it'll do almost twice that.
The seat is a bit taller than the CBR but the bike is shorter, lower and lighter. I've never ridden a sports bike like the Fireblade so to me the Hayabusa is pretty nimble, especially compared to the CBR.
And you get a clock.
I'd heartily recommend it.
