Cbr 600 rr 2006 rpm slowly droping after throttle release
Hello,
I have recently discovered, that once my cbr’s engine is cold (usually after the night) and I start it, the rpm seems to be a little high. It starts at ~1900-2000 rpm and once bike gets warmer, slowly climbs torwards 2500-2700 rpm. + once I rev it a little and release the throttle, rpm seems to stay at one spot for a second and slowly drops back to previous rpm. Though, once I turn the bike off and start it up again after like 10-20 mins, everything runs great. Rpms are at ~1500, and they drop nicely after a rev. I already googled, that most common causes of this are not lubed throttle cable and air leaks. I have checked the cable already and its definitely good. I am not sure about the air leaks though, as I dont know should I look for one.
but can this be an air leak issue if the problem dissapears once bike is restarted?
thanks for your replies in advance!
