Well it has been some time since I posted on here. Let me start of by saying: The bike is doing fine for now, but in the oast months we had a laundry list of issues outside of our control:
-license plate got stolen
-bike got pushed over(over 3k in damages😅
-spark plugs covered with sud in an almost unbelievably cold ride that the bike even after riding for 5 mins didn't want to hold idle and even stalled on my while riding twice.
-got a new exhaust by a company called roadsitalia. my exhaust was illegal for my country and I decided to get a fully street legal one
-and unrelated I got hit by a car
but I don't just post for the sake of it. I see some issues arising that I went to get ahead off.
1. So i need to replace an air hose it is the: "17271MBW000" or called float chamber inner air vent hose. It is tearing from the inside. but the hose is discontinued and no where in the Netherlands it is in stock. And I just cannot find the right inner diameter to buy a generic fuel hose. It is smaller then a 15mm ID. I am thing 12mm.
and do you guys have any ideas on how to replace this hose in the best way possible Nr 5 is the hose I need
2. Last week I was riding and I noticed on the way back after 10 mins my idle dropping from 1300 to 800rpm. This happened to me once when I was low on fuel so I went to tank for a bit but to no resolve so I raised the idle with the idle screw to 1700 quickly and wanted to take a look after monte blanco circuit days I got invited to. But today I noticed that the idle dropped again but now from the 1700rpm to about 1100rpm. After 5 mins of rest I turned it on and the bike rose to 1500rpm. And later I let if warm up almost fully never went in gear and it stayed steadily at 1700 rpm.
i suspect an air leak but do you guys have any ideas?
Well thank you for my ted talk again and hopefully some of you have an answer
