No! It looked like it was going to rain all freakin day but it only misted once for about 5 mins and that was it! Stayed dry the whole time.

So, are you now hopelessly addicted and can't wait for the next track day?

Yes, and now that I'm back in Florida it makes street riding pretty boring. I have a Jennings day on July 10 but I'm not looking forward to it as much because it's going to be hot as crap and not make it as fun.

Drink plenty of fluids. Once you get out onto the "hot" track you won't notice the ambient temp as much. I hope you have a well vented suit. Mine is preforated through.

+1 to drinking water. I brought 3 liters and 2 gatorades and I should have drank more. Once you're moving on the bike the heat is irrelevant, but as soon as you stop you immediately start sweating .

+100000000

Drink a bunch after every session - I try to drink one 20oz water and 1 20oz gatorade after. You'll sweat most of it out. Like some guy said, on the track, I really don't notice the heat, but the second I hit Pit-In I start going "Man, it's hot!!" Did one last summer the ambient was 106.

Fluid is very important.

I did a Jennings track day recently and dropped the pressures so they would be 32/32 hot. The tires held up great!

I'm sure they did, but I'm also sure it didn't do well for the lifespan of the tire.

Take that statement with a grain of salt, because if you have (IIRC Pirelli) they are set based on hot pressure.

You guys need to lower your pressures some...
+1. Unless these tires are way different than my pirelli's. I run 28/30 hot as well.
