Super Bike School
oh and one other thing, somebody did wipe out in our class (zx6)and they let him continue to ride, I think on the web page it states that crashing may or may not end your day.......
Once I get my own gear and have some extra moneyI will be heading to the Willow Springs class. Thanks for all the info guys, it answered all my questions.
Here is more insight.
I have taken CSBS Level 1 at Watkins Glen and Levels 2-3 at Laguna Seca last November. It would have been a long haul to take my R1 or RC51 across country so we opted to rent their ZX-6Rs. You have to put down a $750 deposit at the beginning of each day just for the bike if you are renting. If you crash their bike, they could sit you for the rest of the day. I saw someone in the 1st corner 1st lap at Watkins Glen put it down in the rain. He was done for the day not due to injury, but becuase of the damage caused to the bike. They just don't pull out another one for you and say, here, wad this one up too.Go sit yourself in the classroom sessions and listen.
If you can take your own bike, do it. Don't waste your money on renting if you don't have to. It is a school, not a full blown trackday or race. According to my State Farm agent today, if I take any of my bikes to the track and total it, they will pay the average retail of the bike plus any aftermarket parts.
