Default First Night of Bike School

So after riding illegal for a long while, i decided to do things the right way. I enrolled in a motorcycle school to get my license and learn the true rules of the road and safety. Tonight was the first class and I must say so far so good! Tommorrow night is on the range, thur is another class, and sat sun is on the range. then ill get my waiver and finally be legal. lol! there were several types of people there. there were bikers, office people, young teens, and come chics. one chic even asked where reverse was on the bike. lol. but hey, everyone has to start somewhere.

all in all i think it will be a very beneficial class. the owner of this class is also the owner of a racing school. so it was pretty sweet to talk to him for a while. learned a lot just in the first night.

thats all i gotta say [8D]

sweet.
my class is this weekend.
so far ive done good. i got my permit last september... even tho i didnt have a bike haha i was just planning ahead.
ive done good with staying legal about it, ive only had someone on the back about 3 times, and ive only rode at night like once...
so ive been following the rules pretty good lol.
but thats cool u got ina class, im hoping it is beneficial too and that i really learn somethin meaningful or that will really help me
bc i know i still have alot to learn, and ive heard MSF courses are kinda dull and boring from some people... but they could just be trying to sound like theyre badass or somethin also.

anyway good luck w. the class.
what bike have u been riding?

Getting my M license cost me $315. Yup. $15 for the M and $300 for the ticket.

Honda Goldwings have a reverse gear. Also cup holders, stereo, and an air bag.

It's not technically a gear though....It runs off the battery.

Some HDs had a reverse as well. Don't know if the bigger ones still do or not.

Good to see the OP taking the class instead of thinking he knows everything already, so why do the class. I would have done the class but around here they fillup for the year in the spring and I got my permanent license last fall. (afterpaying $20 for who knows how many years for the temp license)

yeah there are some with reverse. but she was reading out of the book and asked where it was.

tonight was day 2 out on the range. it was a blast! since i was one of the 3 out of 11 that had experience, everything was a breeze! the instructor said she'll try to make things more challenging for me this saturday. lol! im looking forward to it!
