Default riding skills/technique school?

Hi All

I am a looking for a riding school not a track day. I am a female and am looking to improve my skills particularly around turns/knee-dragging as you call it and my form. I am quite confident with my bike but am also a new rider. I am looking for a school to teach technique to prepare for the track. I don't want to be thrown in with the wolves to learn. I am a mother and a cautious rider yet do have a competitive streak. Are there schools for women?

Please Advise.

600RRchick - I see you`re in New Jersey. Locally, the Lee Parks class is taught by Christine Firehock, in Poughkeepsie. So even though your classmates won`t all be women, your instructor will be.

my wife has a 600rr and she did two days at California Superbike School. She said she felt alittle intimidated the first day since it was 95% guys. By day two she wore the edges of her boots off. On track everyone was cool, no one stuffed her and gave her room. by day two she was passing more than being passed. they definately run a safe program. they slowly ramp you up during the day. early they hold you back with certain drills so you learn the track. by the last session you feel like Rossi.
