All great advise. Lee Parks Book Total Control is a great book better yet if you get the chance take the course. You will learn the proper body positioning and be able to do it on a bike!

Track Days a must. Big benfit...No 4 wheelers talking on a cell phone.

you know .. not one person said anything about the reason for draging a knee. theres a reason for it . its not to look cool to all your buddys. it helps take some pressure off the tires. is not just a cool factor . learn to ride you bike and know what it can do before you try and drag a knee . your gonna end up in the HP and be bikeless because you tryed to drag a knee , lost control hit a curb and hurt your self ( if not killed) and trashed your bike ( and yes you can die from hitting a curb ) please learn the reason for doing it !

Feared600RR is right. There is a reason.

Lee Parks book and course explains why and the physics are in simple terms.
