I already want a track bike. For whatever reason, in my area people are incredibly proud of what they have. So much so that if you find a bike that is reasonable, you instantly have your guard up as to why it isn't more expensive. Most of the time the cheap ones don't have titles.

Keep an eye on some track day forums, most people are motivated to sell and their asking price reflects that.
Might have to travel a bit, but you can find a great deal on a bike that's 100% prepped for the track
