Default wheelies in 4th

i finally figured out how to pull a wheelie in 4th. stock bike stock gears get to about 110 to 115 and yank the **** out of the bars and gun it to a standup. i really just wanted to pat myself on the back for this one. thanks

600rr stock? impressive, I got my front wheel off the ground in 3rd and i was surprised, I stood up and bounced it while clutching it pretty much to red line going about 70 or 80. didn't get it up very high though.

i saw a video of a guy with -1 front get it up in 5th.

sick stuff, i am putting a 15 tooth sprocket on this weekend, more for hauling *** then wheelies, but i am curious to see how it affects them.

3rd gear wheelies are so easy on a 600rr bout 85 mph with no clutch you can just bounce you *** off the back see into a standup. i rode one for about 2.5 miles the other day. could have gone longer but i ran out of road. 4th gear with no clutch either.

dont yank on bars. very bad idea. and pointless. if you wanna do wheelies over a hundred bounce like hell. dont yank. when you yank the bars if it only comes up a foot and you set it down crooked your screwed.

I really dont know which is worse, all i can offer after looking at some of my vids in slo mo is, i dont bounce, but i guess i do give a little tug. I wouldnt call it a pull or yank though.

haha whatever man. what do i know. have you ever wheelied before? yanking is bull****. maybe you should stick to a lot and just use clutch. and if you rock em on the street do seat standers. with -1 +5 gearing i can pull up in 6th on the 900 like its nothin. i usually do street seat standers in 3rd or 4th and just barely slip clutch. and with a 954 you should never need to tug on bars. when i say bounce im talkin about FEET and LEGS. NOT ARMS! bouncing with legs preloads shock and forks compress. keep hands loose and focus on throttle and clutch and hb.

I agree with Jordan, Your an idiot. I have the same bike and do stand-ups in every gear up to 4th. You don't yank on the bars, preload with your legs, crack the throttle and it comes up. When I first learned how to do stand-ups I would pull the bars and quickly learned how much more sketchy it makes it. I ride em for miles, around corners, switch lanes and would never think about pulling the bars again. Good luck with it through.
