What all does a Cage protect?
I have some pretty expensive custom paint, and I reeeeally dont want to repaint the whole bike, nor do I have the cash anymore. But BP wheelies are on my checklist of things to do, then slow BP 1st gear wheelies.
Does a cage protect the front fairing/headlight assembly (for the most part) if the bike happens to go down?
Does it protect the tail piece? My buddy that had it before me said he paid over $500 for the aftermarket tail + undertail +paint.

Well if you don't want to crash the bike I'd suggest not to stunt it. But a cage will protect the fairings around the motor and the motor cases. It won't protect the tail section, but you can get a round bar from www.sickinnovations.com that will go inside the tail section so if you do scrape it won't bust the tail all up. I'd say that you should look for a lot bike instead of stunting your custom painted baby. Thats my .02, but I have seen f4is go for $2500-$3500 for a good stunt bike, thats cheaper than a new custom paint job.
Hope this helps you out
