does anyone know how to take the tip over sensor off of a 929?

 

did you try a search i would have sworn i saw a write up on here a little while ago.

 

if its similar to the f4i twist the 2 outside wires (should be 3) together leave the middle cut and put a piece of tape on the end to prevent it from touching anything else.

 

what kind of issues are u having with the tip sensor, i have stunted my 929 quite a bit, and havent had it affect it at all, just want to see what it prohibits.

 

Find the 3 wires that run to the sensor. there should be a green, red, and white one. On my 600rr I had to splice the white w/ the green and leave the red pulled back. If you splice the wrong ones you will now b/c it will either not turn on the fuel pump or will blow the fuse. trial and error.

If you are doing long coasters or dragging tail for a long timeit can cause your tip over sensor to kill the bike. No chainsaws w/ a tip over sensor either.

 

I came pretty close to scrapin the other day and when I did the bike shutoff. came down pretty hard.

 

i think the tip over sensor on the 929 is under the tank and cut all three wires tape off the white and connect the red and green and u should be set

 

The problems he is prob. having with it is when he does a high wheelie. I have heard (I can't do a wheelie this high yet) that the sensor can activate when attempting a BP wheelie. But Honda's sensors are real easy to disconnect. See the 3rd or 4th post. I think he has it right.
