Rear psi required?
Is it necessary to drop your psi in the back? I'm running my my psi for turns which I do more of but I want to learn to wheele better. I'm having trouble hitting the bp and I think its because of a physcological factor. I keep telling myself its not good trying to wheele at 41 psi.
haha, you can wheelie at whatever PSI you want to but it will be easier to do it at a lower psi. See if you are riding with high pressure than you only have about a 1" or 2" block of space that you are actually resting on, The lower the PSI the bigger the amount of space you are resting on.
It just makes it easier, but dont forget to fill your tires back up when you take some twisties.
Just for reference I run at about 13-15 psi when im stunting and maybe 20 on the highway.

Well i can tell you putting your left foot on your back peg makes a world of diffrence when first pulling it up. Also shifting weight and kind of like a bounce, push down on the bars and pull up on them while giving it more throttle. Now that might not be how it is suppose to be done, it just worked for me, oh and we have the same bike , even same color scheme.
Should I even clutch it when trying to do stand ups in first? I tryed it one time and it threw me into the handle bars and I kinda landed hard. I quit doing them after that.
