Default Information required

Hi guys, my names Keith and I live in New Zealand. I have an 879 cbr 600 road bike, a 93 cbr400rr racebike and have just acquired a hybrid cbr600/400 race bike.
I would liek to know where to get information to date the 600 engine and the 400 frame (for when I need all those spares). I am also on the look out for a reasonably priced cdi/ecu for the 87 cbr600. I bought one off e bay but I think it is for an 89/90, anywayit doesn't work in the bike.
I would also like to know if/what mods can be done to the 87 600 as I would like to race this in 'post classics' here in NZ

Welcome aboard Keith. I'd say you have some track runners that most of us could only dream of (me at least). Try out the CBR600F section for ideas and please do tell what the 'post classics' series is.

Truth be told, there's precious few sub-600 RR enthusiasts in America--Honda decided no one would buy them here, I guess, so not a single 400RR or 250RR made it to dealers.

As soon as my ship sails right in, I'm off to Britain, NZ, and Oz to find out exactly what I've been missing. Stuff this place.

Post classics is for machines manufactured before 1989 and is split into 2 groups senior and junior. Senior -over 600cc, Junior - under 600cc. It's a good friendly series with a real mix of machines and some close racing (It's also one of the cheapest ways to race) In the junior class the Kawasaki ZXR400 is most popular bike although there are lc and rz yams. The cbr400rr I race in F3 but I struggle to compete with the Suzuki SV650 twins[&o]. I am originally from the Uk and wouldn't recommend it. New Zealand is great haven't been to Oz yet but it's on the plan!
