Default rain

well today was the first day i have ever been in the rain on the bike and was scared at first, but 5 min after the rain started we were riding as normal. passing slower cars in traffic and also pulled a few wheelies. but my question is what are the chances of the bike losing control in the rain at faster speeds etc. 100+

If your going 100+ in the rain then you got bigger ***** than me. However i have tried to do wheelies on wet roads and wonder how your getting enough traction to pull it up. My bike just spins the rear tire.

It's all in what kind of tires you got, I can wheelie on wet roads fine.

dude I hope you don't hit a large puddle at 100+, thats a hydroplane wipeout waiting to happen.

going 100+MPH in the rain is just plain stupid. HydroPlaning is no joke. I live in washington and have started to hydoplane doing less than the speed limit on the freeway, only way out of it is to let off the throttle and pray. I truly hope you never have to experience it, and if you do I pray you are NOT doing 100+ MPH. When it rains just remember Ride safer and Ride longer.

If the conditions make me uncomfortable and I losing the pack being careful I just saw screw it. I'll ask for direction if in unkown territory. Better to make where I'm going alive and late then injured/dead. Besides good riding groups don't ditch thier riding buddies. You should smack your riding buddies for making you ride beyond your comfort level.

I know it's the stunt forum, but still. Not sure why you would want to go 100 in the rain.

Not sure what kind of reaction you wanted out of this thread.
