Default Rain X

I live in Florida,so in the summer- time you're bound to get caught in the rain! I was wondering if anybody uses Rain-X on thier visor,I know it works good on car windsheilds, but on the Rain-X it says to only use it if approved or some warning like that for plastics.Anybody have first hand experience? Thanks,Darrell

It doesn't rain much in El A, but the marine layer rolls in and makes it moist/mild precipitation at night. I use rain-x on my shield with no problems. Works okay enough.

Thanks Stephygee, thats what I wanted to hear, someone that actually used Rain-X on thier shield.I didn't want to mess-up an Arai shield and what they cost!We have quick downpours here in central Florida in the summer, and then 1 block away it will be bone dry.Winter is dry, hardly rains compared to summer, and it's alot cooler, nicer rideing weather. Thanks,Darrell

I use good old Honda Polish on the face shield for my HJC AC-12. The water beads up and runs off just as nicely as Rain X. Also works great on cage windshields.
