edit* btw, thanks for the info. I keep trying to just listen so I know when im at bp but my body/balance is telling me FU in a really loud voice. unfortunately my throttle hand looooves listening to the latter

i can hardly(can't) "clutch" up my f4i in 2nd gear, how the hell do they do it in 5th AND WITH POWER!?!
p.s. if you've got a cage and if you're not worried about dropping your bike. practice clutching up from a dead stop and cover the back brake. clutch it up hard so the bike comes right UP and try to catch bp with the back break.....after u do it a 100 times and you think you got em down, do it another 100 times and ull be golden.

Haha call all the BS you want, but i've done it. Didn't say it was pretty in 5th, and it's at about 105mph...and i'm not talkin about ridin at BP at that speed---it's so fast that the wind will flip you (at least it felt like it).
But as far as the other gears, i usually pull it up:
1st gear: ummm....2mph? lol
2nd gear: anywhere from 20-40mph (standing)
3rd gear: anywhere from 35-75mph
4th gear: anywhere from 65-100
5th gear: only done it twice, was goin 100-105
This is just for me personally. It should be noted that i'm down 1 in the front and up 2 in the back....it was hell gettin it up in 4th with stock gearing, i don't know if i could've in 5th. The reason i'm givin such a broad range of speeds is because it's all about feel....example: 3rd gear at 35 mph needs a hard bounce, while 3rd gear at 65 requires just a little. Am i confusin anyone? lol
You don't have to believe me....i've got one witness for both times in 5th, but my goal wasn't to try and brag about any wheelie that i've done, just to kinda voice my opinion on the whole clutchin thing.
